Your profile is how other members get a sense of who you are before you’ve said much of anything — worth a few minutes of care.
What to include #
- A real photo, not a logo or placeholder. This is a community built on being seen, not anonymity.
- A short bio — where you’re from, what you do, and honestly, what drew you here is often the most interesting line you can write.
- Your Initiative interests, if you filled these out during your application — they’ll help other members find and connect with you around shared focus areas.
Why it matters more here than on other platforms #
Circle One isn’t a place to lurk quietly forever — it’s built for people actually building something together. A completed profile is a small signal that you’re here to participate, not just observe. Members with real, filled-out profiles tend to get engaged with faster and more warmly than blank ones.
Privacy note #
You’re never required to share more than you’re comfortable with. A first name and a general sense of what draws you here is plenty to start — you can always add more once you’re settled in.
