Applying to Circle One isn’t an instant-access signup — it’s a real application, reviewed by real people. Here’s exactly what happens, step by step.
1. You submit the application #
You’ll answer a handful of questions — not busywork, but real reflection: what brought you here, where you’ve felt disconnected from your own life, and what you’d actually want to help build. We ask because we mean it.
2. Your account is created, but access is limited #
Submitting the application creates your account right away. At this point, you can log in, but you’ll see a holding message rather than the full community — you’re not locked out because something went wrong, you’re simply not reviewed yet.
3. We read it — actually read it #
Every application is read by a real person, not a filter or an algorithm. This takes time, which is part of why it isn’t instant.
4. You’ll hear back one of three ways #
- Approved — you’re in, and we’ll walk you through what that means, including how membership tiers work
- Waitlisted — a good fit, but timing or capacity means we’re not ready yet; you’ll stay on our list
- Declined — not a fit right now, and we’ll tell you honestly rather than leave you guessing
5. If approved, you choose your level of involvement #
Being approved doesn’t automatically enroll you in a paid tier — you decide what level of Circle One you want to step into, from the free spaces up through Inner Circle, whenever you’re ready.
How long does it take? #
We read every application ourselves, which means it’s not instant — but we aim to get back to everyone within a few days. If it’s been longer than that, feel free to reach out through Contact.
